"The Fergeson staff was/is VERY friendly and courteous. We researched several brands and decided the 2010
Lance 2285 trailer was our preference. In October 2010 we returned to Fergusens, Mike remembered us and treated us like family. The sales "stuff" was fast. We returned the following day to have our truck married to our new trailer. Jim walked us through the trailer's pre-delivery acquaintence list and we drove home. As with any new vehicle, we did have some minor re-work to do and Gilberta's service team was exceptional with quick turn-around and the usual friendly attitude. We have had our rig for about 18 months and are happy campers. We can highly recommend Fergusens RV for both sales and repairs."

I thought I would give you another 855 update. I've enjoyed several excursions since the maiden voyage; Davis Lake, Bucks Lake, and places of such. However, my last adventure was rather unusual, most delightful, and honestly pushed the limits of my outdoor skills as well as Chevy and Lance engineering. I promised my wife a relaxing and peaceful camp out at a secret little lake that I've camped at many times before. Truly, a marvelous place, so we'll keep it unnamed. I bragged what a wonderful place that we were headed to for the two hours it took to get there. Upon arriving, to my total surprise, some water manager had pulled the plug on the dam leaving the lake bone dry. Oh what to do now??? As a direct descendant of the Donner Party, I headed for nearby pioneer country. I locked up the Chevy's hubs, chain sawed small trees out of the way, and took my covered wagon to camp in a historical spot in the high California desert. I'm quite sure that no one has camped here in a hundred years. The stars were magnificent. The International Space Station fly-over was most impressive. Around the fire during a mid-summer night, a temperature of 29 degrees signaled the approach of fall. I enjoyed a terrific meal as the furnace cycled keeping my covered wagon toasty warm. Just thought that I would send you a report of just how versatile this camper is and how surprising well it handles. I think that I will stop pushing its limits and try the Redwoods or coast in the near future. It honestly is making life good and my adventures fun with the utmost comfort. I recommend truck camping to anyone who might be so inclined."

Both Mike Ferguson Recreation in Paradise, Ca. and Lance Manufacturing in Lancaster, Ca. "Lance RV Parts and Service Department" and the crew where just great. We will always champion Lance products to family, friends and neighbors. In the last 19 years we have been proud owners of 3 Lance Campers. From 2000 to 2007 we had a motor home for which we found we were not very happy as we were with our campers. Mike Ferguson helped us sell our motor home and we purchased the 951 camper and have never looked back. We love the freedom and ease of driving the campers. "I've owned and traveled in a very comfortable 5th wheel trailer for many years. I recently started Jeeping and wanted to switch to a camper so that I could tow my Jeep. After searching all of So. Calif for a Lance 830 unsucessfully, I found it at Mike Ferguson's in Paradise, CA. I was impressed from the start in dealing with Mike. He knows his products and was very helpful. He had everything ready when I arrived and had me ready to go home that afternoon. His installation man, Jimmy was very friendly, helpful, and professional. Jimmy's workmanship was the best I've experienced. He walked me through everything on the camper so that when I left I knew how everything worked. We've already taken our 1st trip, towing the Jeep, and love the Lance 830. For us it was a great choice. Lance is a very high quality camper and we couldn't be happier. Thanks for your hospitality and that of your great staff. Great Lance camper, financing, everything!! The walkthrough was really helpful. I certainly didn't remember everything but it's much easier to pick things up when you've seen it once. Like the sign on your wall says NO SURPRISES. It was a long drive from Durango, CO but it was totally worth it and I would do it again.
On the trip home, the truck handled about the way you said it would: "Like a Suburban". Got the camper off the truck just fine (Love that remote!!).

I had been actively searching for a used Lance truck camper for the last two years. I had talked to dealers in several states and could not find the right unit that would fit my short bed truck. I recently started talking to dealers in CA and finally found Mike Ferguson's RV dealership in Paradise. After many emails and telephone calls with Mike and his staff, I decided to purchase a new Lance 845.
